This probably would fit better into an Extraordinary Thursday video post, however, I already have something planned for this Thursday (Think conspiracy theory…THE most controversial conspiracy of this decade…any clue??)Â So, rather than sit on this for another week, I decided that it will just get its own post.
The following videos make up a complete documentary. One that fascinated and disturbed me. It leans fairly mature, so if you (more. . .)

The legend of the origin coffee involves a shepherd named Kaldi. It was on the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula where he saw goats dancing. Noticing that there were some bright red berries on plants nearby, he deduced that the goats had eaten these berries, causing them to act euphoric. He pulled some of the berries of the dark-leafed shrub and ate them himself, quickly feeling their stimulating effect. (more. . .)

Funny Games is a disturbing, and at times frustrating and infuriating, but overall entertaining thriller, which is probably just the result German writer-director Michael Haneke wanted.
A scene-for-scene remake of Haneke’s own original 1997 Austrian-made version, it stars two seasoned campaigners in Naomi Watts, who also co-produced, and Tim Roth as … well, let me be brutally honest, a pretty pathetic well-off married couple who, along with their young son, are (more. . .)

I AM not one who has jumped on the whole Twilight bandwagon. In fact, I won’t be upset if I go through the rest of my life without ever seeing the film I’m led to believe is about horny teenage vampires.

What would The Matrix be if you replaced Laurence Fishburne with Morgan Freeman and killer machines with daddy abandonment issues? The answer is Wanted.

First of all, just a quick note for those who are afraid that I’ve slammed my flag into Bookreviewbabes.com and claimed it in the name of Natalina, Don’t worry! Cheryl is on vacation (or holiday, as I believe they call it in her neighborhood) and she will return. In the meantime, read on for another of my thrilling reviews.

West Germany/USA | 1987 | Directed by Percy Adlon
Logline: When a German tourist is abandoned by her husband she seeks solace at a dysfunctional Californian desert café motel and inadvertently brings disruption, then joy to the staff, guests and patrons.
A film festival favourite when it was first released Bagdad Café (aka Out Of Rosenheim) is the quintessential 80s arthouse comedy; a quirky character study of eccentricities, idiosyncrasies, and observations (more. . .)

I wrote a post before about having ridiculous insomnia. I would wake up so early in the morning that it was practically still night time. I would be up for hours before I could sleep again. Well, now the problem has changed.
I wake up early to take my medicine, so I’ve been setting my alarm for 4 or 5am. This seems sort of silly, but I have good reason. (more. . .)

It was 40 years ago next month that America landed its first man – or two men – on the moon. More than that, the mission accomplished what it set out to do – get them back home safely.
It may have stopped the world at the time and has to be, if not the most daring adventure that man has ever attempted, an experiment that comes pretty close to (more. . .)

REMAKE is becoming a real dirty word. Just about every time I hear it these days I shudder. What next? I think to myself. What movie next will those unimaginative, unoriginal producers of Hollywood get their mitts on.

Maintaining your home in good shape over time is a more daunting task than building a home itself! There could be a leak on the roof, damaged walls, water seeping in from the roof or plumbing problems. The list goes on, especially when it comes to repairs in your home. It is inevitable and bound to happen over time, as it is possible with anything that is used frequently, in (more. . .)

I had a full day today, and didn’t get much sleep last night, so a few hours ago, I decided to lay down to take a nap. About 30 minutes ago, I woke up in a state of panic and trembling fear. It took me a moment to get my wits about me. I was looking franticly around the room for something that wasn’t there. I was breathing heavily, and (more. . .)

One of the most incredible animals I’ve ever seen is the kangaroo. Well, that statement is a little misleading, because I’ve never actually seen a kangaroo in real life…but I’ve always wanted to.
Imagine my delight when I read about cases of this magnificent marsupial being sighted right here in the United States! Unbelievable? Well, not to those who claim to have witnessed them with their own eyes. The kangaroo (more. . .)
