We all have em’
Tunes we secretly love – but are too embarrassed to admit to in mixed company.
Hidden amongst the shelves of our album or CD collections they remain musical recluses to anyone other than you – finding freedom only occassionally – and then no doubt through the sanctity of the ipod.
Sandwiched between Spiderbait and Empire of the Sun pehaps there’s a Michael Bolton classic that you (more. . .)

Predator and Alien look to be finally heading down the right path – in their own separate ways. News out of Hollywood this week has given fans of the two iconic sci-fi creatures hope they will again get to see them flourish like never before, in their own stand-alone blockbusters.

Congressman Ron Paul at his desk.
Â
The Congressman from Texas and former Presidential hopeful Dr. Ron Paul has posted a You Tube video sharing his thoughts on the current Swine Flu scare. He touches on the 1976 Swine Flu scare that we previously mentioned in this post: Swine Flu Pandemic on the Horizon?
He was one of the people in Congress at the time who voted against the (more. . .)

We all want to have fun, but fun can be costly. However, it doesn’t have to be! Here are some free things you can try solo or with your friend or partner next weekend.
1. Learn something new. Try learning a computer program on your PC or Mac that you’ve been ignoring because you don’t know what to do with it. Look for an online tutorial, take a free workshop, (more. . .)

OK – so perhaps I’m not totally up to date with some of the outrageous names celebs have decided to dish out to their baby’s – but c’mon guys – who geninenly calls their kids Sage Moonblood or Zuma Nesta Rock?
How about Kal-el Coppola or Diva Muffin?
Now as tragic as is seems let’s hope that Paula Yates fell in love with the name Tiger Lily Heavenly Hirani – because poor (more. . .)

As promised, I am bringing you the latest updates on the Swine Flu outbreak that is spreading across North America and beyond. I’ll make this post simple and to the point, saving speculation as to the origin of this new strain of Swine Flu for a future post (as previously mentioned).
In our first post regarding H1N1 Swine Influenza, we noted that there were 11 confirmed cases of Swine flu (more. . .)

This past Saturday I decided to have a yard sale. I had so much extra junk, I just couldn’t stand it anymore. I still have lots more cleaning and organizing around my house to get it where I want it to be, but at least the superfluous crap is gone. Hooray! And now everything that didn’t sell is in my car to be donated. And that is a lot of (more. . .)

The folks at HBO used a very unique campaign to advertise the arrival of True Blood. It was mainly viral marketing which worked enormously well for them. Billboards started popping up all over the world advertising “Tru Blood” such as these:
There were vending machines with Tru Blood and some even more inventive billboards like those that popped up around New Zealand with little snap off stakes.
Videos started getting (more. . .)

I only posted a few hours ago outlining the current threat of Swine Flu that started in Mexico and spread to a few Americans.
Since that post, there have been a few developments, and I’d like to share them with you.
According to CNN.Com:
Twenty-two students and three teachers in New Zealand, who returned from a three-week-long language trip to Mexico, may have been infected with the swine flu virus, (more. . .)

WWE Backlash – Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island
ECW Championship Title Match
Champion Jack Swagger vs. Christian
This was without a doubt the best opening match of a WWE Pay-Per-View in a long, long time. Actually add another long in there! Swagger kept going back to his amateur roots. It was working for the most part, but Christian’s experience was the difference maker in the end. While the (more. . .)

On April 20th, a strange Unidentified Flying Object was captured on web cam hovering over the Pyramids at Giza. The image was captured by PyramidCam.com.
Strangely, the Pyramid Cam stopped working after the image was captured, and has not been working since. Take a look at the mysterious picture below:

In what seems like something out of a movie, a new flu outbreak threatens to cause panic across the U.S.
As of April 25, roughly 86 people in Mexico have died from a new strain of Swine Flu, and more than 1,000 Mexicans are currently ill. As the situation in Mexico reaches crisis level, the sickness has already begun to work its way across the American/Mexico border.

UK | 2004 | Directed by Shane Meadows
Logline: A soldier returns to a small country town to seek revenge on the local wastrels who amused themselves years earlier by teasing, humiliating, and terrorising his younger mentally handicapped brother.
A deeply sombre and disturbing tale, more resonant than a dozen hack horror movies, yet inhabits its own nightmare realm; a dramatic thriller of controlled rage which inexorably reaches critical (more. . .)

RABBITS are supposed to be lovable cuddly little critters like the ones in that appeared in Alice in Wonderland, Bambi … and Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
But, no, not these below. These are some of foulest, most frightening furry foes that have appeared in film.
The list is not confined to ‘real’ rabbits, but, still, doesn’t include the likes of Bridget Jones, who though creepy in her risque bunny costume in Bridget (more. . .)

Smackdown
Edge started off the show by talking about his upcoming match with John Cena at Backlash.
Jeff Hardy & C.M. Punk vs. Matt Hardy & Kane
These two battles raged on in yet another match. At least they made it a tag team this time for a little variety. Matt got the three count after shoving Jeff off into his partner Kane and then rolling him up from behind. (more. . .)

ROBOTS have been appearing in cinema almost since the birth of cinema itself. You can go right back to 1926 when what is widely regarded as the first, and for some time, the most well-known robot appeared on the big screen via Fritz Lang’s sci-fi classic Metropolis.
Even if you haven’t seen the legendary silent-era film, you would no doubt have seen ‘Maria’. With her feminine features, she has (more. . .)

It has been rumoured for months, but it appears as though Arnold Schwarzenegger will in deed be ‘back!’. And, it seems, turning back time as well.
Variety is reporting it can confirm that the Californian Governator will feature in the much-anticipated Terminator Salvation, to be released worldwide late next month.
Though the big Austrian-born former body builder didn’t actually have turn up on the set of director McG’s (more. . .)
