Recently I posted a picture taken in Norway in which a melting glacier exposed a very human looking face that appeared to be weeping vast rivers of tears into the sea. This post became very popular, and still gets hundreds of views every day. MOTHER NATURE CRIES A RIVER OF TEARS
As I was looking through my online photo album today, I came upon a picture that I’d forgotten about. (more. . .)

I wanted to start this post by saying thank you to anyone I haven’t personally thanked. Either because you were just a friend or family member of someone I directly contacted about voting, or if you were someone we don’t know at all that just came across my post and took the time to go and vote. Also, thank you to those I already personally thanked!
My wife did indeed (more. . .)

If this doesn’t melt your cold heart, nothing will.
In Norway, on the Austfonna ice cap, located on Nordaustlandet in the Svalbard archipelago, the ice is melting. Rising sea levels due to early ice melt are causing great concern to scientists around the globe.
Marine photographer and environmental lecturer Michael Nolan captured the stunning picture of the disappearing glacier, and the image that turned up is at once awe inspiring (more. . .)

For those that do not know, my wife is a 4th grade teacher here in Oklahoma. She recently took a two day professional development workshop on “Digital Storytelling.”
Digital storytelling is basically just what it sounds like. You take digital images, either pictures you have taken or have found online and create your own little story. You then overlay some background music if you’d like, (more. . .)

I’ve been having so much fun with my camera. I recently did a few posts on my personal blog about items around my home and things to see in my city. However, when I showed them to my brother, this was his reaction…
“You didn’t even show all of your cool stuff. The kind of stuff you have that makes me a little creeped out whenever I come over. I (more. . .)

Evolution in action?
This is some fascinating news that sparks all kinds of questions. According to a new book, Thinkers Of The Jungle, by Gerd Schuster, Willie Smits and Jay Ullal, the below image shows an orangutan in the process of attempting to spear a fish. If this is in fact what the ape is doing, then it is a first. No other orangutan has ever been seen using a (more. . .)

As long as I can remember, I have been drawn to cemeteries. I do not find them to be a morbid or sad place. Rather, I find them to be peaceful and meditative. Many of the old cemeteries are really quite beautiful, with their monuments and statues, crypts and shrines. Sometimes, I like to visit these graveyards and just be still and quiet.
What is it about the graves that (more. . .)

Below you’ll find a collection of Art and Quotes that are of a paranormal or otherworldly nature. Perhaps they are a bit biased to my taste, but I think they are all beautiful, and the artist has been contacted and/or noted where possible.

Toward the end of the Cold War, Reagan visited Moscow with Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev. His photographer, Pete Souza, snapped pictures during the visit, while Reagan made his way around Red Square. Below is one of the photos he took.

Now, if you look closely at the tourist directly behind the young boy, he bears a striking resemblance to none other than Russian Prime (more. . .)

Not so surprisingly another of my favorite posts involved beautiful women. More precisely some of the most artistic photos of beautiful women ever compiled. Timothy White is the artistic genius behind they amazing photos.
The women ranged in age from 22-year-olds Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen all the way through to 62-year-old Susan Sarandon It is amazing how different some of these women look in these images as compared to (more. . .)
