On the morning of Sunday 7th May the little girl giant woke up at Horseguards Parade in London, took a shower from the time-traveling elephant and wandered off to play in the park…
This giant doll with the expressive eyes is both beautiful and haunting. Certainly the feel of this video is enhanced by the wonderfully bizarre music (‘Decollage’, by Les Balayeurs du Désert). It almost feels as though we (more. . .)

April 2010 was National Poetry Month. Well, those who know Natalina are well aware that she likes to be fashionably late… (read: procrastination). Recently I posted a picture taken in Norway in which a melting glacier exposed a very human looking face that appeared to be weeping vast rivers of tears into the sea. This post became very popular, and still gets hundreds of views every day. MOTHER NATURE CRIES A RIVER OF TEARS

Just a quick note about a new feature that has been added. You will notice across the top of all of the pages within the World Blogosphere that there is a new bar. It is the BuddyPress bar.
BuddyPress is an additional resource attached to WordPress that will make the site more sociable. Think of it as the Facebook of our own site.

In Norway, on the Austfonna ice cap, located on Nordaustlandet in the Svalbard archipelago, the ice is melting. Rising sea levels due to early ice melt are causing great concern to scientists around the globe.
Marine photographer and environmental lecturer Michael Nolan captured the stunning picture of the disappearing glacier, and the image that turned up is at once awe inspiring (more. . .)

For those that do not know, my wife is a 4th grade teacher here in Oklahoma. She recently took a two day professional development workshop on “Digital Storytelling.”
Digital storytelling is basically just what it sounds like. You take digital images, either pictures you have taken or have found online and create your own little story. You then overlay some background music if you’d like, (more. . .)

Each year my birthday usually feels about the same as any other day. I am more thankful to be alive, however, and appreciate my blessings more.
